New Volunteer Opportunity With Jeffco Open Space

We are pleased to announce a new, ongoing site-stewardship and survey opportunity with Jeffco Open Space.  Talle Hogrefe, archaeologist with Jeffco Open Space will be working on sites in Jefferson County (when the weather cooperates) and is excited to welcome CAS members as volunteers.

No experience is necessary, although artifact identification knowledge is helpful.  This is a great way to get out and get some exercise while learning archaeology skills.  The work will include surveying new and previously recorded sites, and checking on their identified sites.
